Over the last 30 years, Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service has established a worldwide reputation for delivering an excellent standard of Fire Training.

Staff at the Centre are enthusiastic and professional, and are experienced Firefighters with Lothian and Borders. Who better to teach Fire Training than Firefighters themselves? Courses are delivered in a range of fire safety related areas, ranging from basic fire safety/ fire marshal training to industrial fire training. The Centre also specialises in basic and advanced Marine Firefighting training which is STCW standard. See the courses page for more detail on what we offer.

You will find information on the courses the SIFTC offers on this site, however many of these can be tailored to deliver the best course for you and your employees. Many of our courses are run at our premises in Edinburgh, or can be arranged to take place at company premises.
