The responsibilities of the Procurement Function of Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service are to provide professional advice on all aspects of procurement, ensuring that the Service is receiving value for money when purchasing materials, equipment and services. To develop relevant policies for Corporate consideration and to take responsibility for the implementation of the Service tendering process and for the timely supply of all purchases to the Service.
