The Lothian and Borders Fire Board's strategy is for a shift from an operational (intervention) focus to a prevention focus in order to improve fire safety in our communities. Our Integrated Risk Management Plans set out how we plan to do this to fulfil their strategy.

Also, each year we produce our Service Plan, which usually goes before the Fire Board at the autumn Board meeting. It sets out a report on how we did on objectives for the year before and what we intend to do in the coming year.
