17 January 2006 - Free Home Fire Safety Checks a Success
At The Lothian and Borders Fire Board on 24th June 2005, The Board agreed to carry the proposals contained in Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service's document; Making Safer Communities - Addressing the Risk - Service Improvement Plan 2005/2010, forward to the next stage, a three month consultation period which ended on 31 October 2005. The views and opinions we received during this consultation period on the proposals outlined in this document will be analysed and will be reported on at the meeting of The Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Board on 27 January 2006. At the meeting of the Board on 18th November 2005, a report detailing the extent of the responses was discussed.
