Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service’s aim is to prevent, protect and respond. By providing local community safety advice through this website, the media, schools education programmes, businesses and commercial enterprise and many other channels, we hope to prevent fires and protect you, your family, your belongings and business from the devastating effects of fire.
This section is designed specifically to advise you on how to prevent fires, and what to do if they break out. There is information regarding home fire safety, as well as information on non domestic premises including the laws that must be adhered to in relation to fires.
