Community Safety

Our Services > Community Safety Advice > Introduction

Our aim is to prevent fires, protect people and property and respond to emergencies. By providing informed community safety advice through our website, to the media, school education programmes, to businesses and partner agencies, we hope to reduce the number of fires and help protect you, your family, property and businesses from the devastating effects of fire.

This section contains advice on how to reduce the risk of fire, and what to do if one breaks out. You’ll find information on fire safety in the home and at work, and discover how you can take steps to protect yourself from ever needing to call us out.
